There are six blooms on it right now and all of them are huge!
Just a few days ago one of the buds looked like this.
What a difference a few days make.
Peonies were my Mom's favorite flowers, so it always touches my heart to see these. She would've loved them!

ReplyDeleteThose peony blooms are so gorgeous! I tried to grow one years ago. It took 3 years for it to have one bloom on it, but I was excited about that one! I should try to grow one here because I love them so.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I just mowed my peonies down. The people that live in our second home don't tend the flowers so I did away wit them:(
ReplyDeleteOh how lucky you are Pam!! I need to see if I can get some to grow down here!! We have ordered them for Mallory's bouquet...white ones, and they are $6-$8 each!! Simply enchanting, aren't they?

ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms! Peonies are one of my favorite flowers along with hydrangea. I have 2 peonie bushes and hope to get more one day. It's nice to have a flower that reminds you of your mom. The color is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Pam! I have peonies in my yard too, but for some reason I haven't been able to get them to bloom. Do you have them in a full sun?
